In front of the West Delaware crowd, the boys’ bowling team celebrates their State Championship victory. The boys’ beat Maquoketa by 52, knocking down 3,143 pins.

With the State Champion Banner displayed on his back, senior Blaine Wilson gives Coach Sue Morris a high five. Wilson bowled a two-game series of 370.

Giving gratitude to Coach Sue Morris, Head Girls’ Bowling Coach Ken Boesenberg explains all of the contributions Morris does for the bowling program. Bosenberg earned the IGHSAU’s Golden Plaque Award at the state tournament.

Cheering on their peers, the boys’ basketball team stands and applauds for the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams. The boys’ basketball team beat Clear Creek Amana 65-35 to advance to the second round of districts.

Junior Andrea Salow high fives Athletic Director Mike Morrison after finishing first for the second time at the State Bowling Tournament. Salow became the first person in West Delaware bowling history to earn a two-time state champion title. She bowled a two-game series of 441.

After receiving second place at the Class 1A State Bowling Tournament, sophomore Alex Schnieders walks in front of the crowd after the boys’ basketball game. Schnieders bowled a two-game series of 472, placing behind junior Jeff Boeckenstedt, the Individual State Champion. (481).
