Inklings

About

The West Delaware Inklings started many years ago. Dating back to 1948, it was a weekly publication printed in the Manchester Press. In 1996 it became an in-house newspaper printed and distributed to the high school students every month. Starting in the 2016-2017 school year, the newspaper transferred online. With the technology and cellular phone population increasing, the online Inklings has helped us reach the West Delaware community and beyond through social media connections.

All the articles are written by West Delaware’s own Journalism students.

In the Journalism I and Journalism II classes, students learn and demonstrate a variety of journalism skills, including photography, journalistic writing, InDesign, communication skills, interviewing, and time management.

The public is free to comment on our web page. We’d love it if you left us a tasteful comment on our articles for support and encouragement.
