Kalen Recker (11), Alias Underwood (11), Joshua Seeley (11), Myles Ponsar (10), Trey Boczkowski (9) and Elijah Heims (12) act out choreography with the rest of the Bass Clef Chorus. The choir members whipped out various pieces of Christmas clothing (including hats) for the last song, "Jingle Bells."

At the yearly winter music concert Dec. 9, music directors jazzed it up a bit.

Along with the music of the Concert Band, Bass Clef Chorus, Treble Clef Chorus, Mixed Chorus, and Concert Choir, the performance included choreography, Christmas-themed clothing, kazoos, and a combined arrangement of “Battle Hymn” that included all choir and band members.

Additionally, Colby Samuelson (12) narrated a Concert Band version of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Mikaila Neuzil (12) accompanied the Bass Clef Chorus on the flute for “I Saw Three Ships.”

Concert Choir concluded the concert with “Sleigh Ride.”

“It was a really upbeat end to the show,” Emma Merkes (11) said. “I think we all ended the night happy because of our excitement to sing the song.”
