In late October, Varsity Group from Urbandale, Iowa, installed a 59-foot by 9-foot vinyl wrap to the school’s cafeteria wall.

Administrators throughout the school district were discussing how to make the school more appealing after the recent renovations. They decided on Varsity Group, an equipment and advertising company, to help design and install various graphics around the school.

Principal Tim Felderman felt the process went smoothly. Felderman said, “They took our suggestions. They came up with some initial designs, they sent them back to us, and we tweaked them a little bit.”

Freshman Dahlia Ochoa Sherrets said she thought the mural looked nice. “I was really surprised when I walked into school and saw it!”

Felderman said that with more funding, the school will be adding more graphics and displays to the school in the future.
