For the second consecutive year and third time in program history, the girls golf team has qualified for the class 3A state tournament.

The girls golf team played their regional tournament Wednesday, May 18, in Clear Lake. The girls shot 362, edging out Waverly Shell-Rock by two shots to claim runner-up. 

Junior Kennedy Klostermann led the way shooting an 87 for eighth place. Sophomore Emma Hogan and senior Ella Koloc finished right behind Klostermann with 89s, tying for ninth. To round out the top four, sophomore Maylin Coates and Susie Funke (9) shot 97, tying them for fifthteenth. Freshman Andrea Wubbena shot 102.

Tournament action begins on May 25 at River Valley Golf Course in Adel.
