Students honored a classmate at the home football game on Oct. 16.

Carson Crane, a freshman, was recently involved in a dirt bike accident that ended up taking his life on Oct. 15.

Outside the football field, Crane’s friends provided a table holding pictures of him and a book of pictures to sign that Crane’s parents, Katie and Aaron, later received.

Freshman Chloe Peyton, one of Cranes’ best friends, said he was the life of the party.

“While he always wanted to make people laugh, he was out to bug them at the same time,” Peyton said. “I will miss his fun, crazy, loving personality and overall him being there for me.”

Another close friend of Cranes, freshman Bredyn Powers, said Crane was a best friend that anyone could rely on.

“He’d do anything for anyone,” Powers said. “He was like my brother, as I’ve known him since second grade. I am going to miss his hilarious, nice, kind, caring self.”
