West Delaware High School’s yearbook, The Hawk, has been recognized for excellence and featured in the 2018 Jostens Look Book, celebrating the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and coverage.

The Hawk was created by West Delaware students under the direction of yearbook adviser Helen Temeyer.  Hannah Hogan, 2016 graduate, was the yearbook editor of the selected yearbook.

“This is our sixth time being recognized in a Jostens Look Book,” Temeyer said. “It is great to see my students’ work recognized.”

The Hawk yearbook was one of 413 yearbooks selected from approximately 2,000 entries. The 2018 panel of judges selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 304-page 2018 Look Book.

Temeyer and her yearbook staff received a copy of the 2018 Jostens Look Book and plaque from Jostens to recognize their outstanding achievement.  

The Jostens Look Book is used by yearbook advisers and staffs seeking creative design and coverage ideas, trends and inspiration.
