If students could add classes to the Program of Studies, what would they add that would help them accomplish their goals or maybe just make school a little fun?
Chuck Maloney (11), who wants to be a lawyer or history teacher, said he would like to add an AP History class or a more advanced history class.
“I’d add a law class so students can learn more about the laws they’re living with,” Maloney said.
Rhylee Harry (10) doesn’t know exactly what career she is interested in, but she did enjoy teacher Jolene Pitzenberger-Timp’s art classes.
“I would add more art classes,” Harry said. “It helps students to be more creative.”
Bridgett Heideman (12) would like to add a debate class. “It goes along well with public speaking, and it would help people speak up for themselves,” Heideman said.
Kendyll Rave (11) would like to add an esthetician class or a class based on beauty.
“I’ve heard a lot of people say they want to go to school for those types of jobs,” Rave said. “I think it’d be a fun class.”
Kaidyn Robbins (10) thought of adding a show choir or dancing class.
“I think it’s a great form of exercise,” Robbins said. “It’s also very expressive. I would personally love to learn tap dance.”
