Roughly 300 people attended the Fields of Faith Oct. 13 at Hanson Auditorium after not meeting last year due to COVID.

According to the Fields of Faith website, the purpose of Fields of Faith is for students to come together in faith, join in reading the bible, and work against the temptations of the world as a community.

“I would say that we were really pleased with the number in attendance,” football coach Doug Winkowitsch said. “We were excited to get the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) up and running again.”

Laney Robinson (12) and Brooklyn Lewin (11) sang two songs, Kyle Kelley (alumnus) gave his testimony, and Aaron Reasland spoke for Fields of Faith. Kyle Cole (12) gave the opening prayer that  explained why his faith was so strong and Reasland talked about God being the only way out of brokenness.

Aleah Winkowitsch (12) and Ren Winkowitsch (10) introduced the speakers, and Haley Hamm (12) and Maylin Coates (10) shared their favorite Bible verses.

Cole was nervous to speak, but was glad he did.

“It was cool to see all those people come together by choice,” Cole said.

Cole believed that it was a great opportunity and was happy to see people willing to join together.

“There are more people than I thought that want to come together,” Cole said.
