The West Delaware Wrestling team has punched their ticket to state duals once again.

On Feb. 6, the Hawks hosted the Dubuque Wahlert Golden Eagles, the Crestwood Cadets, and the Union Knights for the regional duals.

In first round action, the Hawks defeated the Union Knights, 51-16, to advance to the regional dual finals against the Crestwood Cadets.

During the final dual against the Cadets, the Hawks won nine of the 14 matches, leaving the final score 42-24.

Five years since their last state dual appearance, the West Delaware Wrestling team will face the Assumption Knights on Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. in Des Moines.
