Congratulations to all of the students who participated in Special Olympics Bowling.

Competing in Regionals on October 14, Rachel Sunne (12), Jason Jones (5), and Noah Slaymaker (5) placed first; Shelby DeSotel (12) placed second; Boudy Ross (12) placed third; and Hunter Slaymaker (10) placed fourth.

Three students advanced to State Bowling on November 18: Rachel Sunne, Jason Jones, and Noah Slaymaker.

“I think it’s a great experience for them to compete at a higher level, and all their extra practice really paid off,” said Special Olympics coach Jennifer Huehnergarth.

In the end Sunne took home the second place medal, marking the end of the Special Olympics Bowling season.
