Hello! My name is Maya Pennington, and I am a senior at West Delaware High School. Outside of Journalism, I love to stay involved. I participate in the vocal all-state process, fall musical, soccer, speech, student council, youth mentoring, and many other extracurricular activities. In my free time, I also spend a lot of time organizing our school’s social media accounts or being out and about with friends. Outside of the school year, I work at the Kramer Aquatic Center, where I teach swimming lessons and lifeguard. This is my first year in Journalism, and since it is a huge career interest of mine, I am super excited to be a part of the staff.
