A home football game before school even starts?
On August 26, the preseason eighth-ranked Class 3A West Delaware Football team hosted the unranked Class 2A Dubuque Wahlert Golden Eagles. The Hawks fell to the Golden Eagles, 31-14. Senior Will Ward led the way for the Hawks, running for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
