The West Delaware High School yearbook staff recently earned a number of awards in the Iowa High School Press Association Yearbook contest.

The staff of 22 earned second place in the 2016 Yearbook of the Year contest in Class A.

They also earned 14 individual awards.

First place awards went to graduate Hannah Hogan for the yearbook cover and reader services, graduate Cassidy Oberreuter for her mug design, graduate Kaitlyn Reth for her personality profile, senior Liz Koloc and senior Kenna Coates for their student life story, and senior Emma Kehrli and Koloc for design.

Second place awards went to Hogan for her photo illustration and theme, senior Annie Cassutt and Koloc for their student life story, graduate Megan Harbaugh and junior Maxwell Weber for their infographic and graduate Maddy Klostermann and Hogan for their design.

Third place went to graduate Mariah Kleitsch, senior Anna Thole, Kehrli, and Lea Boies for their personality profile and senior Ashley Goebel for her feature photo.

Honorable mention went to graduate Cassidy Oberreuter for design.
