Carolers visited Meadows residents on Wednesday to bring holiday cheer.

NHS members Taylor Hammer (11) and Regan Recker (11) joined Kelly Beckman (11), Sydney Lorang (9), Alexis Rieken (10), Lauren Johnson (9) and alumna Paris Schaul to uplift others through caroling.

One 80-year old-resident approached them and harmonized with them for a song. She expressed gratitude to them for coming. “She told us that she was in choirs and quartets, and she doesn’t sing with young people a lot,” Recker said.

Songs included “Jingle Bells,” “Away in a Manger,” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.”

“It was really fun and rewarding,” Recker said.
