Students in Exploring Technology built bridges out of 50 linguine

noodles. The challenge was for the bridge to hold as many books as possible.

Hi! My name is Savanna Hamm and I’m a sophomore at West Delaware High School. This is my first year in Journalism. I am also involved in softball and group/individual speech. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, shopping, and being around friends and family. I love photography and writing. I feel Journalism is a great fit for me and I am excited to start this next semester!

Hello! My name is Landen Palmer. I am a senior at West Delaware High School, and this is my first year in Journalism. Along with Journalism, I am involved in soccer, speech, musical, and other sports and activities. I currently work at Subway as a Team Lead and am part of the junior fair board. Besides work, school, and fair I love to snowboard, ride my motorcycle, and work out. After school, I plan to attend Kirkwood Community College to study Architectural Technology. I’m excited about what this semester will bring and to learn and contribute to the creation and design of the yearbook.
