Boys basketball team nears end of regular season

The West Delaware Boys Basketball team only has six games left in the regular season. They will celebrate senior night for their last home game on February 11, against Grinnell at 7:15 p.m.

Hey everyone! I’m Abby Kass, and I’m a senior at West Delaware High School. Outside of Journalism, I am involved in softball, cross country, wrestling cheer, NHS, and student council. I work at Riverview Wellness and St. Mary’s Extended Care. Outside of school, I love to workout, read, paint, go shopping, garden, listen to podcasts, and do anything outside. After high school, I plan to attend UNI for marketing and management. This is my second year of Journalism, and I’m super excited for this semester!

Hi! My name is Josie McMahon, and I am a senior at West Delaware. This is my first year in journalism! Along with journalism, I am involved in cross country, basketball, track, student council, NHS, WD-SDC, fall musical, and speech. I work at Smokey’s Bar and Grill and spend my summers teaching swimming lessons at the pool! I love spending time with friends, going to concerts, shopping, watching movies, and staying active. I plan to go to college next fall for secondary math education.  I am super excited to be joining the yearbook team!
