In celebration of FFA week, West Delaware FFA will host Tractor Day on March 15.
FFA advisor Rachel Findling expects 15 to 20 students to participate.
Findling said reserved parking will be available in front of the Central Office along New Street and in the parking lot in front of the Ag Room/Greenhouse. Students will be available to help students park their tractors.
Sophomore Tristan Clare plans to leave his home at 6 a.m. to drive his John Deere 4010 to school.
Findling said, “It’s a great opportunity for people to see the various equipment that people can’t see because they don’t live on farms.”
Students plan on cleaning their tractors in preparation of Tractor Day.
Luke Beswick (11) plans on driving his John Deere 8r410 tractor to school on Tractor Day.
“It will take close to a day to clean the tractors,” Beswick said.
