Choice.

Teenagers have many choices when it comes to choosing their style of jeans.

Jean styles include boot cut, mom, flare, skinny, trousers, ripped, boyfriend, wide leg, athletic fit, bell bottom, husky, and straight leg.

“Walking from class to class, I see a lot of people wearing different kinds of jeans,” junior Keevan Hauschild said. “I think it’s fashionable that everyone is exploring their interests and showing what they enjoy.”

Senior Sydney Demmer wears a wide variety of jeans. Demmer said her favorite style of jeans is trousers. “I like the cut of them and how they fit,” Demmer said.

Demmer’s favorite jeans she owns are her Flying Monkey flare stretch jeans from the Buckle. “They are my favorite because they are super comfy and fit well,” Demmer said. “They are super flattering and I like the wash.”

Along with Demmer, sophomore Trudy Loecke enjoys wearing different styles of jeans. Loecke said her favorite style of jeans is flare jeans.

Loecke’s favorite pair is her Kankan flairs. “They’re versatile and comfortable,” Loecke said.

While choosing their jeans, some people run into sizing problems. “The size of jeans that fit me in the leg and butt don’t fit me in the waist, but the size of jeans that fit me perfectly in the waist don’t fit me in the thighs,” Demmer said.

Sophomore Maleah Demmer feels joy when finding the perfect jeans that fit her. She said her favorite pair of jeans are high wasted, dark wash, big bell bottoms, and have no holes.

Demmer immediately knows when she finds the perfect pair. “When I find the perfect pair of jeans, it feels like heaven. I instantly fall in love with them, and I can tell right away that they fit my body perfectly,” Demmer said.
