Hawk Personality Profile: Jolene Pitzemberger-Timp
Jolene Pitzember-Timp, or PT as her students call her, has been teaching art for the past 31 years. While she claims she’s too busy for hobbies, she has a passion for art and some day wishes to open her own art studio.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Bird, because I would like to fly and soar and be above the world and see all the world
What would you pack with you if the apocalypse happened now?
An unlimited supply of coffee.
How lucky are you and why?
Extremely unlucky. Whenever something good happens, two bad things happen. I feel like there’s a black cloud following me around. I lose stuff all the time.
If you were Waldo, where would you hide?
Behind the mirror—like in the mirror—like in the looking glass. I could look out at everyone and be like “hehe!”
What drives you to teach High School Art?
A car
I wanted to do something I was good at as a career but that wasn’t boring and was fun everyday. Art makes me happy, and high school kids are so much better than middle school kids.
