Hawk Personality Profile: Jodie Bramel

Jodie Bramel has been teaching business for 13 years. She teaches Accounting, Career Exploration, Global Business, Marketing, Multimedia, Entrepreneurship, and Personal Business.

Why did you choose to teach high school?

I used to work in human resources, interviewing and placing people in jobs, so I like working with young adults to help them prepare for their future careers.

What are few things on your bucket list that you still want to accomplish?

Go to Hawaii with my family, build a new farm shop, and ride my new horse in a dressage event and earn passing scores!

If you could go on a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I’d go on an Equitour horseback riding vacation in Spain because I’ve always wanted to ride an Andalusian and I love Spain!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to be a teacher and own my own restaurant.

How does it feel to see your students succeed?

It fills me with pride and joy to see my students achieve their goals.
