West Delaware welding students recently competed in various competitions.

Seniors Zach Ryan and Bennett Cole participated in the first annual Local 33 Welding Competition. Cole finished in second place out of 70 students, and Ryan placed third. Twenty- five schools were in attendance at this competition. West Delaware was the only school who had all welders place in the top five.

Shayne Fessler (11) competed at the Kirkwood Welding Competition. Fessler placed third out of over 30 students.
